Sheffield declared a UK City of Languages Sheffield is the latest city nationally to be declared a ‘City of Languages’, in a new initiative aimed at promoting and helping the city’s multilingualism to flourish.

Looking forward to connecting with colleagues from across the country later this week. Am particularly interested in talking all things HHCL and how we can work towards embedding multilingual approaches in teaching and learning.

Speaking another language today has meant, a good chat over morning coffee, local recommendations and a subsequent excellent dinner. Finally a conversation over dinner where ideas and knowledge were exchanged and my understanding of the local area is even better.
