One bit of urbanism that caught my imagination and I've always remembered:

Design a city that works for women -- where women can move freely & independently, without fear -- and you will have a city that works for everyone.

New post on Judith Butler's critique of Trumpian authoritarianism, but refusal to understand her own.

However somehow I needed to get it out to the world and found myself here feeling a bit more authentic(!) with my small number of followers who has no idea about the woman I mourn for. Hello world, I wish I called her.

And it feels too weird to share these thoughts and the sorrow, writing about her in social environments which are crowded and familiar. I don`t particularly think it is bad to share and remember together but the process of posting a photo and a text about the person makes me feel like a poser.
