Honestly, it would probably be hard to do so. I just think there's so many artists out there it could happen. Particularly with simple abstracts. I think for me it comes from years of having my work stolen and reproduced without permission - it just made me hyperaware and paranoid 😆

We just might be related 😆 My Grandmother did the same and so did my parents. I did too for awhile, but got hit with iris borers (and since I don't like using chemicals) and have spread them out amongst my gardens a bit to make it easier to care for them.

I use Tin Eye or the Wayback Machine from time to time, but I have developed a habit of using Google Lens before posting my artwork or photography just to make sure I'm not accidentally stepping on someone else's toes, so to speak.
