I thought the president said he wanted to liberate Iran and change the regime.

This has become like "who won the 2020 election?" moment. If they can't be honest with what is objectively true, then we have a serious problem. America is at war but our elected officials are scared to say so.

We're in uncharted territory- if WTI crude holds these gains tomorrow- the current rise of 29.9% or $27.16/bbl would be its largest single day price jump- in both percent and amount- ever. Ever. EVER.

I predict that he'll be forced to make some concession and either wrap it up or scale his war effort back before the end of the week if this trend continues. What he cares about is money.

There's nothing that unites a country more than a common ideology and the fear of being overrun by foreign aggressors. The US foreign policy makers will never understand this.

Trump doesn't have extraordinary powers that previous presidents didn't have but to some degree, they understood the power & their responsibility. They were also constrained by the other arms of government which have both capitulated to him.
