Bought loads of CDs in Forever Records, Osaka today… lots of #industrial & #noise things that I remember from Music From The Empty Quarter magazine (mid 90s) - this one was easier to find though still accidentally walked into several ‘girls bars’

When I reached my station I bought a paper; and, reading the tail-end of that sentence, discovered that Rusty's bride was: a beautiful cover girl from the Arkansas bills, Miss Margaret Thatcher Fitzhue Wildwood. Mag! My legs went so limp with relief I took a taxi the rest of the way home.

Truman Capote INVENTED Margaret Thatcher! I KNEW she couldn’t have been real. I guess if I’d read Breakfast at Tiffany’s (reading it now; it’s lovely) BEFORE In Cold Blood this would all have made perfect sense… #books

I haven’t read all the books & ended up for reading bingeing all the TV show but I thought it was one of the best ever adaptations in terms of getting the spirit of the book… don’t remember any characters who missed their mark

Yes, I found those close-ups on June’s face so distracting; kept spinning me right out of the story… most of the acting was really good; she seemed to be acting in a 1920s movie (as the baddie!)

Well, just seen the final season of #TheHandmaidsTale & it felt like a spectacular mess of narcissism, misguided fan-service, terrible (& repetitive) direction & nonsensical plot / character development. Other than that, lovely. Will probably win an award or something anyway.
