If I had to guess they’re gonna implement a system like R6 ban system where the whole team votes to ban like, 1-2 characters total, which I feel is more reasonable than how something like league where you ban 10 characters

I feel the announcement today is gonna be along the lines of a format update (unfortunately doubt 6v6 but there’s more hope it’s in the shop than previously) like a softlock 5v5, or a hero ban system, map bans

They have literally stated that PVE is not happening in the foreseeable future… (this doesn’t mean we won’t get any related lore in other formats)

I don’t think this is entirely true. I know a good few people who think 5v5 is better. I think a majority of pro 6v6 people are simply just louder

I think this is partially true, but as a so to speak 6v6 vet (I don’t think one format is inherently better than the other) the best way to describe it is 5v5 feels more like a tactical shooter and 6v6 feels more like a moba

I think the biggest two things it could be is hero bans, or a format update, either 5v5 soft lock or some 6v6 format

Something big that isn’t said here is that they’re bringing in content creators to showcase.. they only have ever done that for blizzcon or the one car collab they did and that wasn’t a playtest. They only bring creators in for the big stuff.
