Lovely weekend!

I got to drive my classic mini around the circuit at Brands Hatch this weekend! So much love to my gorgeous Mr who has sourced the best classic mini experts to restore her and the fabulous Mini Girls UK who provide a safe space for womxn in Minis! Had such a lovely time!

Got to make my own bulla today!
A bulla was a type of amulet or locket worn by children in Ancient Rome. It was given to them shortly after birthand as a protective charm.
The primary purpose of a bulla was to ward off evil spirits and protect the child from harm.

Excited by my rainbow chard, first time growing it! Also, courgettes and lollo rosso

Had a gloriously decadent morning comprised of a yacht brunch and dolphin spotting, then ridiculously scrumptious steak sandwiches and wine, and fresh set of nails, and a trip to my favourite independent cinema to watch the latest Jurassic Park movie.

This is picture from the base recipe, the restaurant chef has actually created a gorgeous rosette but I can't share those pre-launch. Being tasting guinea pig has raised my spirits!

Me having a general rotten perimenopause day and so being spoilt with restaurant recipe research by the glorious Mr. X
