Ftr the system Mario Kart has isn't bad, the core issue doesn't land on the items or the boxes

It's the track design that includes a lot of tracks where doing "the big cut" near the end is optimal 99% of the time, especially on Intermissions

Despite this, Ring Racers put a bagging failsafe anyway. If you get any item box, you cannot get another item from that set unless you either do another lap around the track, or get hit. So you can't giga bag as a result, which is pretty interesting (2/2)

Ring Racers already isn't very friendly to bagging since its main mechanic requires you to have no item to take advantage of it, which benefits 1st place more
Not to mention that 1st place items are pretty strong, so Keeping a lead isn't super hard (1/2)

Yeah it's still not a great look either way

The Bowser in the Sky skybox from Super Mario 64 is well-known for its ominous appearance. However, it is actually made by combining real sky photos from texture libraries and then color-shifting them. Restoring the image from the original files shows it to be rather serene.
