We went to crave before & our waiter told us the cast had been in the night before & they had initially been at 4 hours for the run time without intermission! Tonight was 2 hours & 45 minutes without intermission so they cut some stuff!

Just saw #PurpleRain as a pre-Broadway show & it was absolutely AMAZING! Part play, part concert. The actors were outstanding, the music was fire (of course, it's Prince), & the whole experience was so much fun.

This movie was trying too hard to be deep & emotional. The characters were so flat & one dimensional. If this was supposed to be an accurate portrayal, they did these people dirty.

Kevin is now at his house which is totally burned to the ground. Cue another trying-to-be-poignant moment at the house, finding a photo of him & his son as a baby. It survived the fire.

More over the top silent trying to be deep moments. Eye roll.
