What's funny is that I didn't know about the Amazon/Anthropic relationship until now. But the story is such shameless PR that I decided to google it. I knew there had to be something. So I typed in "amazon relationship with anthropic." Et voila!

If the Washington Post story above sounds like PR for Anthropic, that's because it is! Amazon has invested billions of dollars in Anthropic. Jeff Bezos, of course, owns both the Washington Post and Amazon.

And in both cases, they share the enthusiastic support of Bernie Sanders. He supported Fetterman when he ran for lieutenant governor in 2018 and again for Senate in 2022 and he loves the Oyster Shucker from Maine. Each of them, according to Bernie: "A real fighter for the working class."

Mehdi, all you have to do is put on a jogging suit, make sure its obvious you're unarmed and then go for a run on Fetterman's side of the street.

He chased down and detained (at shotgun point) an unarmed Black jogger long before he had his stroke. He was an elected official at the time, too. Some might call that a big, honkin' red flag.

He's like Aaron Rodgers on that front. You can almost smell their nasty funk through the screen.

This was a Senate vote, not the House of Representatives and the only Democrat who voted with Republicans was John Fetterman.

Not to mention the guy who instituted multiple Muslim bans the first time he was in the White House. It's the dumbest coalition of spite activists I've ever seen, fronted in large part by people with no connection to or knowledge of the Middle East. My Lebanese 🖕🏼😘🍑 to all of them.

I work with faith based community orgs here (in addition to those funded by the city) on food insecurity outreach and they are indeed allies when it comes to social issues. There are also dozens of churches here locally at the forefront of every anti-ICE protest. Faith isn't owned by the right.

Seems like the trend in Republican primaries last night was incumbents losing or being forced into runoffs because they weren't hatefully MAGA conservative enough.
