it really is unfortunate, they host so many wonderful artists who actually do make their own work!! but i can’t forgive them, especially when as far as i know they never took accountability

i have a lot of feelings about pantone’s color of the year and none of them are positive

i don’t find it crazy that a gallery did this. i do think their decision to block anyone for even slightly challenging or questioning the decision to do it is super gross

anyway i’ve seen a few people since then showing their work there (who i assume don’t know about this) and it makes me wonder if they ever changed their stance on this? i personally refuse to set foot in there still so i’m not going to find out

last year i was blocked by a local art gallery because i asked them to rethink their decision to showcase “work” from someone made with AI. even crazier, i learned about it from someone whose pieces were showing in the same exhibit and they blocked HIM for pointing it out. we weren’t even being rude
