. Again and again I see how managers who make space for reflection, who share their experience and support each other see the benefits, find it impactful. These discussions need to be supported including to understand how this time supports well being and enables people to work effectively.

Thought provoking as always: the challenges of being a parent and therefore how important is training and ongoing support for foster carers. Also the need for social workers to be well, to look after themselves. And ending with Lemm’s positivity about social work just now β€˜exciting’

This programme has sparked so many discussions. It’s so good to hear you had this opportunity to reflect on these issues and explore solutions. So positive that you were able to share TCS’s learning from listening to and supporting young people and with the passion you always bring to this work.

Powerful, emotional and thought provoking. Seeing the impact of restorative justice and how it can support victims and enable rehabilitation. Brilliant cast telling this true story, challenging us to think about forgiveness and change.

"We are here for the young people who need us, but we passionately hope to work ourselves out of a job. "Each of our charities brings experience, evidence, creativity, innovation, and solutions to the table. In many cases, these are rooted in over a century of public service and fuelled by millions of citizens who stand with us and invest in our work with their time, money and voice." Mark Russell, Chief Executive of The Children's Society. Photo of Mark on a yellow background, with the SMK logos.

. Again and again I see the value of reflective practice in different organisations. People sharing, learning and providing each other with support. It’s a privilege to facilitate these discussions, to support people coping in tough environments. Their optimism and passion is inspiring.
