Seems ok. Was looking for something versatile / fast in the dull dark Minnesota winter. Like the warmer hues of Kodak vs greener of Fuji. Shooting some 400D right now to see if I like it more. May switch to 200 in the spring/summer. The real answer is to have mult cameras w diff speeds loaded.

Oh! Will have a jealous look thru it! On the way back to Waikiki from North Shore (on the Jurassic Park Side of Oahu) there’s a Kona Brewery where they serve special extra light & blonde ales that can only be purchased on the island. So good even non-beer drinkers down them at end of a muggy day.

Used to go to Turtle Bay resort (I think it’s called) and walk around back to watch the surfers. One of the most Brilliant spots on the planet. Enjoy. Get me a Dole whip at the Dole Pineapple ranch on the way. 😉

Aw man. Miss the Hilton Hawaiian Village! Used to go every year for 2wks, 10yrs straight. Really miss the drive to north shore for shrimp trucks and Matsumoto. Lovely shot.

In Bizarro World on social media I’m seeing a lot of [ #Leica M > to > Leica Q ] reverse pipeline posts gaining traction. Just strange b/c if u needed* autofocus & wanted a streamlined computer to do all the work 4 u there’s likely better options. Hell, maybe they’ll all end up back at Fuji again! ↩️

It is really THE best option for high quality 4x6 prints. Can choose gloss, satin, or matte finish. Nice to not worry about ink drying out. I’d say the printed photos turn out a bit more saturated than they are on yr screens. Never heard of anyone being unhappy with the Selphy1500 results

Noooooo!!! This was my worst fear. That @f1tv.bsky.social #Formula1 would turn into FormulaE where the winner is NOT the fastest/best car&driver (the person able to push the car & corners to the limit) but rather the driver who manages battery best at a snails pace. 🤦‍♂️

Every time I switch away from Instant Film I have to remind myself to “PRINT YOU WORK” 🤦‍♂️ Including yr 35mm & 120 images.

Hundreds of prints later I’m still experimenting with the Canon Selphy 1500. Every new firmware changes something*.

No. I saw that too. Unfortunately 99% of the videos about the camera are from preproduction models that hav well documented issues and even the most educated of film photographers (grainydays etc) got some things wrong about the specs and functionality. I’ve had no viewfinder or parallax issues.
