It's been bittersweet to process the news that my favourite band is officially over.

I started listening to Area 11 in 2012, and they've been the defining music to the soundtrack of my life.

Ooooh, Blackstar by David Bowie could be good! It's got a very jazzy vibe and is thematically quite heavy if you're into that? He passed away from cancer two days after the album came out, and it's basically him turning his death into art. Worth listening to just for the unique circumstances alone!

I'm just happy that I get to head into 2026 as who I am today, and that I'm a part of a community that values acceptance and empathy when I've never really had that growing up.

I'm eternally thankful for all the wonderfully queer people here, and hopefully 2036 will be a year of (overdue) karma 🧡🤍

2025 has been a mixed bag.

It's the year I finally started HRT, after waiting for 3 years. I've become more self-assured, confident, and feel a stronger sense of purpose than ever.

It's also a year where I've had to face the limits of the tolerance and acceptance in my family, which is a shame.
