Long term, AI won't disrupt employment broadly across markets. Comparative advantage ensures human labor remains necessary even if AI becomes superior at specific tasks. Humans will stay essential for the bottlenecks in judgment and complex oversight.

While some people are familiar with Huxley's popular dystopian stories like Brave New World, he was proactive as an author and articulated what a pro-human moderately utopic society would be like. I often reflect on it and think of ways to refine or expand on these notions.

Getting gray hairs every time I encounter a software bug that should have been obvious to even a junior developer... or obvious if there was ANY QA testing over just the core useflow. /rant

It's also just nearly impossible to detect as these countries route goods through shell companies.

Simple common sense advise worth stating. Do not buy from brands that do not even have a website. Bonus advise: do not buy from brands that don't even offer a 1yr warranty. It's going to be literal junk.

Oh, random tip, if you ever need to replace a toilet, get one with a modern 'pressure tank' (e.g. Kohler highline pressure lite). Got my old one replaced yesterday as it was leaking and now it flushes now like a beast!! 🐉 #homeimprovements
