Yet despite that, it's communication and understanding that ultimately wins in the end. It's just that, this isnt something the characters themselves knew in Season 1(minus marina). We got to watch them come to that conclusion themselves and i like that.

But i think it's because 00's overarching message is very in your face and clear. CB and everyone else are entirely unwilling to communicate in Season 1. As a result, they pushed everyone to further Extreme's in Season 2.

Gundam does this a lot where your supposed to empathize with both sides not just one. Its one the reasons i like Seed Destiny more than the Seed.

Its a realistic depiction that there always two sides in war. Both think they're right and neither is willing to compromise.

I think this is kinda why they put some characters in the A-LAWS. Louise and Marie(Some) serve as sort of our "Cmon bro, they're not all evil" characters.

I especially appreciate the realism of it. Louise chooses them because she hates CB. This, imho, is what makes gundam special to me.
