I see your point, but in the end:
- if you are a small company, you should probably change market as you don't really understand what you are doing (lol)
- if you are a maang-like company you receive thousands of resumes, so whatever filter is fine, the resource bucket for you is huge.

The bonus is all in the declarative approach: if you get into the framework design and philosophy your productivity gets massively boosted. It is anyway true that it adds a lot on top of the underlying layers.
