You may not know Alexis Wilkins, but she may be among the best-protected country singers in the US. FBI agents have ferried her to a British resort before a Windsor Castle dinner and to a Nashville hair salon. Wilkins, 27, is FBI Director Kash Patel’s girlfriend.

It occurs to me that if the government did force UK writers to hand over their work to the big AI companies, that would now among other things mean contributing to the development of US advanced weapon systems.

If you're wondering why they still haven't called the Texas race even though Talarico has a big lead, it's because nearly all of the Talarico strongholds have fully reported.
There are still 200,000 to 250,000 votes left to count in Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth, all areas where Crockett is ahead.
I've been on websites for I think four different literary agencies tonight and every single one of them has a pop-up saying "people are impersonating us, please double check email addresses" holy shit the scammers are out in FORCE these days apparently

JUST IN: North Carolina's Dem lawmaker Carla Cunningham gave the GOP the decisive vote to pass a law forcing police to comply with ICE. She said "all cultures are not equal."
She just lost reelection BIG in the Dem primary to a progressive pastor & activist, Rodney Sadler. 70% to 22%!
Context:
Seeing some folks seeming to think Talarico has it over Crockett. But Dallas hasn't reported anything so far and Harris has 35% of the vote left to go.

The children kept in Texas are as young as 13, and about half are pregnant because of rape, according to a joint investigation by the Texas Newsroom and the California Newsroom. In Texas, abortion is banned in nearly all circumstances, including rape and incest.

Wow: In the early vote, it's a blow-out *so far*.
Rodney Sadler, the progessive pastor and activist, leads state Representative Carla Cunningham 75% to 18%.
(Stay tuned as we see how the Election Day vote compares, but that's an ominous start for the incumbent.)
