So today, my month-end goal completed but I wanted to finish with a PB. My aim was 32mins.
And then I fucked the pacing up on my watch and ran a stupidly slow 3rd k and couldn't catch up.
5k. 32:20.
And I'm annoyed with myself. Which is stupid, I know.
Anyway - I did it.
Bollocks. Didn't like that.
20 Feb - PB! (not hard at this point, right?) 5k, 36:45.
23 Feb - Shit again. Got 2.8k in and my body said no. Fuck it.
24 Feb - not letting my body win. Got through 5k. 37-ish. Time not important.
25 Feb - smashed it. 5k, 33:03. 3mins 42 shaved off my previous best.
13 Feb - hadn't run for a week, felt crappy. Got 3km in 22mins on the treadmill.
16 Feb - aimed for 3.2k but felt good and did 5k in 37:50! Goal done, but still had 12 days left.
As Forrest Gump said, "for no particular reason, I just kept on going".
17 Feb - 5k. Felt shit. Slower than previous.
At the start of the month I set myself a goal to run 5km. Wasn't quite couch to 5k, I had some fitness level (ha!).
1 Feb - I walked 1km (9min), ran 1km (8min) and repeated x4.
4 Feb - 12min run, 6min walk, repeat. The running felt tough.
7 Feb - 2.8km without stopping, 20mins. Pic below!
