Happy Super-Urinetown Sunday!

10 years ago this evening, I went to a party in Astoria and met a guy. Haven't been able to shake him since.

I was today years old when I realized that people call their thin little dogs "iggys" because they're Italian greyhounds. I. G. Sheesh that took me far too long.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden had a rare blooming of its "corpse flower" plant so we went to see (and smell) it. It didn't disappoint in either category.

I need to see this film. I waited too long and missed it in theaters and I don't think it's streaming where I can see it.

Lentils can be delicious when prepared properly. We had dinner at an Ethiopian place last night and our platter included two lentil dishes, one spicy and coarse and one pureed and savory that was magnificent.

I recall having to start cutting down on some foods several days out, like seeds, but the clear food diet was only one day. I'd say share Steven's protocol with your doctor and ask why the discrepancy.

Today had a couple of firsts: first time I slipped on a subway platform and landed flat on my back (I'm fine) and first time seeing someone clip their fingernails on a subway train. I could have done without either.
