Goddess in Granite When he reached the upper ridge of the forearm, Marten stopped to rest. The climb had not winded him but the chin was still miles away, and he wanted to conserve as much of his strength as possible for the final descent to the face. He looked back the way he had come—down the slope of the tapered forearm ridge to the mile-wide slab of the hand; down to the granite giantess-fingers protruding like sculptured promontories into the water. He saw his rented inboard bobbing in the blue bay between forefinger and thumb, and, beyond the bay, the shimmering waste of the southern sea. He shrugged his pack into a more comfortable position ad checked the climbing equipment attached to his web belt—his piton pistol in its self-locking holster, his extra clips of piton cartridges, the airtight packet that contained his oxygen tablets, his canteen. Satisfied, he drank sparingly from the canteen and replaced it in its refrigerated case. Then he lit a cigarette and blew smoke at the morning sky. The sky was a deep, cloudless blue, and Alpha Virginis beat brightly down from the blueness, shedding its warmth and brilliance on the gynecomorphous mountain range known as the Virgin.

"Goddess in Granite," Robert F. Young, 1957. Sci-fi writer with a clear #giantess fixation—he's written several stories about giant women, including a short series about a mercenary hired to hunt them on other worlds.

In late July I posted about artist LeRoy Neiman and his O.C. the Femlin, a diminutive 12-inch tall raven-haired beauty. Lo and behold I just discovered she came to life in the 1960s! Photos of the "real" Femlin appeared in Playboy's May 1963 issue.

I wouldn't even place in third.

Tonight sees the third blog post that will stay in draft forever. Starting to use my WordPress account as nothing more than a storage space for unpleasant thoughts that won't let me rest. Typing them there gives me the illusion of having put them out into the world, which is truly unnecessary.

Little-known fact: Tinies are so small and light, with so little mass, they cannot disrupt the surface tension of water. That's my story until I figure out how to replicate splashing in Daz.

Welp, I can certainly manage this before September. It may be a fucking novelette, but whatever. The biggest struggle is overcoming my usual style, giving into my usual foibles, representing the story-qua-story instead of "oh hey look aborigen's telling another fucking story like he does."

Tried to come up with a #VoreDay story. Found a great topic, fleshed it out, built it up and up … and now it's impossible to write and finish tonight. Too big, too much going on.

And I'm not even into this.

Sounds like a banner day, all around.

I enjoyed it a lot. My wife and I kept coming back to what a refreshing reprieve it was from the ever-worsening dark-and-gritty reboots.

The first time we discovered Size Fantasy and the creators working within it was a momentous day. Certain stories spoke to us, got their hooks into us and we've never forgotten their power.

Name a #SizeFantasy story—your own or someone else's—that changed the way you think about yourself.

And a bold, important chapter of #SizeWriting was begun. Congratulations to you, I'm excited to follow your career.

On this day, 10 years ago, I released my first novel.

I'm slowly crossing over into the spirituality of #giantess worship. Hell, it's like the giantesses enticed me with #SizeErotica, in order to lead me down the path to their ancient heathen Scandinavian cults.

What would the gods, the saints, and the martyrs look like in a #SizeFantasy story?

I would say what other people are saying:
– Be patient.
– Don't be ashamed.
– You're not alone, many people feel this way.

But I'd urge myself to start writing Size Fantasy much earlier than I did.

It was a pleasant discovery! Looking forward to following it.

I had my #SizeFantasy awakening when I was in 2nd grade, watching 'Attack of the 50-Foot Woman' and 'Village of the Giants' in a double-feature. I had the instinct to hide this from everyone.
