Seeing as there are rumors of Kingdom Hearts adapting Return of the Jedi, I would personally pick a New Hope since that's where the franchise Began and always used in adaptions/parodies of the film.

We might be getting just that; there was a trailer for KH4 back a few years ago and some folks spotted what appears to be an AT-ST foot.

So that means the castle was rebuilt and abandoned after the events of KH2 and Dream Drop Distance, well at least Maleficent can claim the castle after all if she still intends on having a base of operations.
