I used to have hardcore grass pollen allergy. It took couple seasons to take medicine that was basically overriding my immune system so it's a bit unpleasant as you force symptoms at controlled moment but long term was worth it.

Some untreated allergies or chronic ones do tend to get stronger reaction with age. Some tend to fade and be replaced with something else so that best to consult with specialist.
