Meska enjoyed free, nutritious meals at one of our summer meal sites in Thornton this summer.

“I got to eat yogurt, cereal and milk, peanut butter, and little carrots,” Meska shared. “My favorite was the cereal. The food makes me feel happy... it allows me to be energetic.”

Jan picks up food for her nephew who lives with a brain injury and works hard, but still struggles to afford groceries. “The food helps a lot,” Jan says. “These boxes have so much incredible food in them, and it goes a long way.”
