I remembered working with one in middle school electronics class and when the kid started showing an absurd amount of interest in connections a couple years ago (and no interest in toys) I was like I KNOW JUST THE THING

An incredibly messy table that was NOT cleared before dinner, no matter how many times SOMEONE was told to do it: random cables and bits of electronics scattered everywhere, a marker, a box with circuits printed on it. Among the chaos sits a bowl of brown rice, salmon, and roasted cabbage topped with cucumbers doused in chili crisp. Above the bowl, a child’s two hands hold radio emitter and receiver chips.
