The 4,699 respondents of the NDWS Wave 1 survey of community clinicians represent a national sample of nearly 500,000 clinicians who provide care to Medicare beneficiaries with dementia. Wave 1 data from all NDWS surveys are available for researchers to use for free. Learn more: www.ndws.org

Researchers: New documentation is now available to assist you in working with Wave 1 data. Updated survey questionnaires on the NDWS website identify variables masked or removed in the Public Use Files (PUFs) to safeguard respondent privacy. www.ndws.org/surveys-and-data/surveys

Thank you for applying for Cycle 2 pilot grants! Recipients will be announced in early August. While applications are now closed, NDWS survey data and linked data can be accessed for free by all researchers, not just those awarded pilots. Wave 1 data is coming by July 1.

There are many innovative ways to use new NDWS survey data and linked data sources to understand the diverse dementia care workforce. And, you can receive a pilot grant to do so. Apply by April 28 for up to $100,000 in direct costs for projects using Wave 1 data. www.ndws.org/pilot-grants
