We were at UW’s beautiful Suzzallo library grad reading room. I was going on about my experience as a student. She turned to me and said “you know, that was 30 years ago”.

I had not realized so much time had passed.

Very true! But also time travel is fun.

I have to say, when I did some, I sometimes discovered that things were way worse than I had imagined. (And sometimes there were a few decent people who restored some of my faith in humans.)
