Thread from last night. I live in KS. It is a state with a small population (just under 3 million). There is a vibrant LGBTQIA+ life here, but resources can be scarce, and a lot of awfulness happened quickly. I will be adding to the thread when I have more information.

I enjoyed it for lunches. But my special place was Kim’s on Penn Ave in Garfield. I was good friends with the owner (whom we lost to breast cancer while I was pregnant with Youngest). She taught Oldest how to use chopsticks while he was still in a high chair!

I was outside briefly when I took a patient out to valet for discharge.
