David Sylvian vinyl reissue… both of these ‘sound‘ richer on vinyl.. I think it’s having good artwork to look at as the tracks play around you enhances the music somehow… it was a superb release now made phenomenal!

Japan - One of thee ‘holy grails’ for a Japan Collector, the Italian 7” 1978 demo white label with pic sleeve for their first release “Don’t Rain on My Parade” a stormer of a first single. Mint copies like this are impossibly rare!

Japan … apparently a rare Israeli promo test pressing of ‘Life in Tokyo’ 12” edition…. Not sure it’s actually a legit issue.. nice to have, but off the ceiling price bracket…

Amazing rarities ‘appearing’ now, some 40 years after release, often denied as ‘pressed’ here’s the evidence.. often wonder if the denial stops the royalties being paid….

'Died in the Wool' features six songs from Sylvian's 2009 album, 'Manafon', which have been reworked by modern classical composer Dai Fujikura. The album reinvents the 'Manafon' songs and adds new material, including two poems by Emily Dickinson set to music by sylvian/fennesz ….

David Sylvian's 'The Good Son Vs The Only Daughter - The Blemish Remixes' and 'Died in the Wool – Manafon Variations' will be released on vinyl for the first time in January 2025. Initially released on Sylvian's samadhisound label in 2005 and 2011, respectively. available january 31st. pre-order now
