Having a disability that requires a mobility aid but being ambulatory most of the time is so frustrating because I often have to remind myself that yes, I am actually disabled and yes, I deserve to use that language.

I’ve been an ambulatory cane user for several years now due to my chronic pain (that I am almost certain is related to hEDS). I just hate using it because people always look at me funny, especially those who don’t know I use a cane.

I missed the last step doing down the stairs last night and fell, HARD, onto my knees on vinyl covered concrete floor. My hips, back, and knees are so stiff and sore today.

*sigh* Cane day it is.

I’m so glad Faster Horses got cancelled again this year. I live about 20 minutes from MIS and believe me, anyone who works in food or retail here HATES Faster Horses.
