Not only is the site actively putting a “Okay, now remix this” button below art (and elevating them above the OP with a QRT) and it’s false flagging original art as made by AI.

Do cartoon fans know reactions like "WHOA?! This CARTOON is NOT for kids!!!" *reinforces* the stigma?

Like imagine seeing "YES, adult Breaking Bad fans exist" or "Pulp Fiction is NOT a kids movie!" defensively all the time, you'd start to get a pretty weird impression.

like taking pictures on your travels? wish your phone camera was better? just get an actual camera it's so worth it trust me

replies felt weirdly discouraged on twitter (at least to me) but I really recommend getting back into the habit of telling artists directly when you like their stuff. not even in an engagement farming way, it just feels nice. nobody's day is going to be worse hearing that you like their work
