in videos lately i hear the word "often" w the T not silent, & it's so jarring every time to me

i grew up in the 60s with the t being silent in often just like in soften, listen, castle -- which seem to have kept their silence??

is it like how some people pronounce some silent Ls now?

yes, that's EXACTLY what i tell myself, and it helps so much.

(i also 3 million billion % did NOT want to take the risk of hitting a vicious cycle where shingles made mcas flare made shingles worse made mcas flare ad infinitum)

(but every so often, like last week, i have worry breakthru.)

oh gods, this this is really calming for me to read. shingles made my mcas sooo much worse the past couple weeks -- i needed double doses of loratidine and famotidine plus benadryl every 6 hours to keep it contained for 4 days. (now i'm back to every 12 hours most of the time) xoxoxox

finally have enough brainwidth to look up whether shingles is known to increase mcas issues since it sure did for me.

yep. is not just me.

I had to go from bid meds to 4/day, and had to add benadryl to each dose!

yeah, i think the no food/drink and no dirty hands/shoes/feet allowed in the car did a lot. my stepfather had a not that fancy but still soft and cushy velvety upholstered car that was soooo comfy.

and since nobody ate or drank in cars, not being allowed to wasn't a big deal.

This one hits hard.

BTW the best parts of this are "inefficient" in an economic sense. Someone says "hey I want trans-themed whistles, can you do that" and someone else is like "I love that, I wanna do it!" or someone says "can I have some to pass out at my wedding" and we're like "sure, what are your colors?"
