A lot of you probably don't know this about me but I spent a good three years of my early 20s in the local #rhpsshadowcast as a Transylvanian, so it was a bit weird stepping back into brightly coloured satin for a #RHPS themed Halloween party tonight. It was a good night with good people though!

It was a little eerie putting on a brightly coloured satin shirt again! I refrained from ANY callbacks at the actual event, I was proud of my restraint.

I'm going to a Rocky Horror themed party tonight, so I've put together a Transylvanian outfit for the first time in like, 20 years 😅

SO yesterday I was offered a new job, exciting! BUT it's only three days, so I need to negotiate with my current boss to keep some hours at my current job, STRESSFUL! My current boss is being predictably unhelpful about giving me a straight answer.

I did not expect this post to resonate with so many people, but it makes sense considering how many people have been laid off or are going through layoffs rn. Gen X and Millennials were also taught to prioritize work and our careers, only to see homes become too expensive to buy and wages stagnate.

I applied for another psychology admin job a couple of weeks ago, and got an interview and then an email asking to check my references and now I'm just waiting to hear back. But of course NOW I'm like, maybe I don't want to leave? The new job probably won't let me start my day with the music I like.

Like damn, I was on board for some trashy vampire slop. But it was just...dull. Lifeless (ha ha)

I sat down and tried to watch DRACULA: A LOVE TALE today because I'm a sucker for Luc Besson and Dracula. I took a break about 40 mins into it to put my dinner leftovers away and just... didn't go back to it. I was unpacking and totally forgot I'd seen any of it until my partner asked how it was 😅
