They know many, or most, have an inability to comprehend how these programs offer security to us through intelligence, relationship building, trade security etc. For example the increased cost from the red sea conflict.

'Republicans fall in line and democrats fall apart'. Democrats have the job of needing to pander to a large base of special issues and the consequence that if they don't, those special issues groups won't show up.

The incoming administration is tied to the Middle East, it's not about benefiting America. Buy more oil for kickbacks (i.e. the money going to Kushners projects) even if that means higher gas prices because they can always say it was from democratic green initiatives and their base will believe it.

Ive worked in change management for over 20 years. Working to get input from communities and taking specific local concerns into account is something that sometimes gets overlooked. Many communities don't like 'grand visions' and want proof something has been tailored to their needs and issues.
