I'm trying to see something.

Answer these questions:

1) Are you neurodivergent?
2) Which of your favorite fork? Why?

I want to see if the neurospicy folks pick the same fork as me!

On the law, Spanberger’s position is absolutely nuts. It is debated whether a judicial warrant is required to enter a *home* for the purpose of arresting a removable alien. But there is zero doubt whatsoever that an administrative warrant is sufficient otherwise

Neither I nor Wurman is a federalism scholar, but I think he is simply wrong about this. State officials do not have to cooperate with federal law enforcement. Period. And I know that this is not "absolutely nuts," by any stretch of the imagination other than perhaps his own.

You would think gay people of all people would get "you don't have to understand the way I feel to believe me."

I don't understand why people born boys want to stay as boys. From my entire lived experience, it's only natural that you would want to be a girl instead. But I believe cis people exist.

having written about how banning web scrapers from a code forge i host made it usable again and saved ~60€/y in power bill, let me tell you:

you cannot fathom the offloaded cost of GenAI on small web hosts. it is a veritable distributed denial of service to the entire web. Every web admin sees it.

literally your customer base was 90% parents of young children who want a good future for their kids in which they can be free to be themselves, no matter who they are. you told those people to go fuck themselves. they won't be back

It is horrifying how autism moms and transphobic parents are exactly the same kind of people. The same kind of dynamics.

It is not a coincidence that ABA and conversion therapy are so similar. Coming from the same peopl,e the same kind of idea.

It feels like there are no political or military objectives at this point because the facade has fallen on every front. The logical end game of the military industrial complex is not to win anything at this scale of empire. It is to expend munitions and restock them until climate collapse takes us all. It is to secure contracts - yes, even the ones sold as β€œhumanitarian”. It is an economic feedback loop of an industry fueled by blood and wreckage. It has proliferated every segment of our society, and we are collectively footing the bill in more ways than one.

If it feels like we've been here before, it's because we've been here for quite a while now.

This is mostly because THE CROW's soundtrack was designed on purpose with original tracks from artists that were themed along with individual characters and then it went platinum, so movie execs wanted the additional revenue and went nuts with licensing fees trying to catch lightning in a bottle.

Iran executes Khamenei’s plan to spread regional war Strikes on energy facilities and targets across Middle East form strategy devised to sow chaos in retaliation for US and Israeli attack

Extreme irony for the commentators to call the response but not the provocation "reckless"

No one before Ben has ever considered that trans women might actually be effeminate gay boys. No one has ever suggested such a thing to us, repeatedly, in a bid to prevent us from transitioning, or developed entire typologies around the idea, or reinforced it in multiple academic fields!

It’s great that Noem is getting yelled at, but let’s not forget that it’s happening because she’s a woman. It’s acceptable to scapegoat the handmaid while letting the men escape consequences. She richly deserves ireβ€”and so does the rest of the cabal.

This is, in my opinion, the reason everything fell apart. I knew it was over when someone explained to me that something Jenny McCarthy said sparked the antivax movement. RFK being in charge of American health policy is the end result of allowing stupid people to speak. And who gave her a platform?

"And in two weeks, if I don't get a response, I'm gonna deny quorum and mark up in as many committees as I can until I get a response."

Very curious if this includes (it sounds like it would?!) the mark up of lifetime judicial nominations. That would be big.

Prediction markets face heightened scrutiny over Iran-related bets | CBC News Bets placed on the ouster of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei drew scrutiny of prediction markets such as Polymarket and Kalshi on Monday, sparking calls from Democratic U.S. lawmakers to ...

The prediction markets aka gambling sites, are rigged.

Of course they are.

They are a con, a grift a ripoff.

The sites already canceled bets they lost their asses on because they didn't want to payout.

I like the idea that the UAE responding (after having already cooperated with the initiation of the war) constitutes a spreading of the war. No it doesn't, just like how Hezb responding to Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon isn't actually an expansion of the war.
