The short version is: take the receptor or system you care about, make a strain with that knocked out or modified and a fluorophore, and the wildtype or different knockout with a different fluor. Look for differential plaquing. And it works!

Do you have any β€œpublished” E. coli phage? and willing to share for academic research?

most phages from yr 1980-2015 ish aren’t even available to researchers. they are either lost bcz of not sharing or archiving in registries.
