I'm fascinated by things like this and I think most other Aggies would be, too. Great piece of campus trivia that links the 1800s with a new, quiet spot in the shadow of Kyle Field.

If you're in Aggie Park for the playoff game (or any other reason), go find this! πŸ‘πŸΌ

I hadn't considered there to be a need for a pet food pantry, but of course there is. Or that Aggieland Humane Society staff literally drives pets to other states if there are homes waiting for them.

Bonus info about ferrets, parrots, frenchies, long dogs and cats.

Worth a watch/listen.

Not gonna lie, this conversation about cybersecurity sufficiently stopped me in my tracks. All of us are VULNERABLE in ways you might not even consider -- including our voices. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Bast's top tip: Get a high-quality VPN, not a free or cheap one.

Worth the listen/watch.

This was a good talk about our collective fascination with true crime content - with someone who did (and still does) the hard work of pursuing leads and facts, and then telling compelling stories. @clairestamant.bsky.social teaches @baylor.bsky.social, but recently spoke to students at Texas A&M.

Working hard to support the JOUR majors on the TAMU campus! More Aggie journalists are needed, and we have plenty of students in the pipeline. Tell your dad help is on the way! πŸ‘πŸΌ

Remember when live music was a bigger deal in Aggieland? G. Rollie White Coliseum, The Hall of Fame, Northgate...

Where did all that go?

I had no idea that a freedom colony -- what had once been a thriving Black community after the Civil War -- was only a handful of miles from campus. And that even more freedom colonies are all around us. This was a fascinating story that I hope helps save Dabney Hill.

I've heard quiet talks about a Hensel Park redo for many years, but this public discussion of how Texas A&M University, City of Bryan and City of College Station intend to collaborate on making it a special resource for the community is tremendously encouraging.
