I'm a curious cat, so it makes sense that I believe humans who are curious are more intelligent than those who blindly accept information without question. Why aren't those people curious about what other sources are saying? Don't they see that they might be missing out on the full picture? Baffling

You can then format just one of the story files (like the paragraph or character styles) and then just update the other stories when the book registers a change has been made and saved.

Yes, it's super easy to use a book. Open ID and under File, go to New and Book. Name it and save it in the folder with your story files. You'll see the Book palette appear and just click on the plus sign (+) to add your stories into it.

I've been using ID for ~20 years, so holler if you have questions. I'm no pro, but am happy to help.
