Western rules demand that refugees will be the targets for blame, even/especially if the same countries were the cause of the departure from their homes.

These sorts of people who feel entitled to disregard rules and conventions don’t have the insight required to be capable of learning.

Also really like the concept of using the original voices which the actors lip synch to - knowing these were their real voices adds so much depth and emotion.

Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.

They are well trained little lap dogs who do and say as they are told, regardless if true or good for the country (and most typically neither).
