I spent some time this week with my staunchly MAGA Dad. You know its bad out there when we are agreeing with each other on the basics!

People can't take care of their health, they can't buy food, they can't afford homes, they aren't being represented by their government, and its unacceptable!

Yes, exactly. I feel its more about EPA concerns, not about the technology itself. I don't want Chernobyl or people getting cancer because someone built a playground over a radioactive dump site. Other than that, no fossil fuel is a good thing!

I was informed by my dad today that "lefties hate nuclear power." I was not aware of this "fact." Anyone care to weigh in?

Pro tip: Ever get that top of the throat pinch anxiety feeling that won't go away? I recommend opening that tight emotional valve, opening your mouth, stick out your tongue, and vent that emotion in the form of a soul renting gritty wail straight into the void. Satisfying on so many levels.

My Visible app has given me a stability score of 2 out of 5 today, so no No Kings event for me today. 🫩 I really wish that my body, my life, and the greater world would align to let me go to these things. I feel like I am breaking a promise that I made to myself. Disability can happen to anyone.

Rule one: I cannot physically make myself smaller to thread through a crowd. Ergo, if said crowd wants to make sure I cannot participate all they have to do is not care and I'll get hit in the face a lot.

Please remember that many disabled people won’t be at the No Kings rallies tomorrow.

A lot of the planned events are not accessible and/or disabled people are not safe or well enough to attend.

Anything you can do to increase accessibility and inclusion will help the resistance!

I'm trying to buy a protest t-shirt from someplace where the money will go towards an organization that is actually fighting, not just profiting off my purchase (💭Amazon). Many of them are having server issues today.

Hope that's because so many people are buying, and not other nefarious purposes

My hot take: I'm beginning to wonder if the GOP plan is just to never reopen the government. I hope that's not the case, but it doesn't seem like they are gonna negotiate.

You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to try.

It makes your skeets more accessible to people who want to participate but who also need extra support to do so.

People are also more likely to rs if you use alt text.
