He died on the last day of Black history, and on the same month of his 29th wedding anniversary. My stepfather was an Army man, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

And he will be desperately missed.

I want to thank everyone who gave me their condolences. My stepfather died on Saturday after long fight with dementia. I don't know when the funeral is going to be but it will probably be this week.

In my role within digital advertising at HarperCollins Publishers, part of what I focus on is identifying titles that may be under-leveraged in the audiobook market. Audio is no longer just a supplementary format, on platforms like Audible, it often becomes the discovery engine that drives visibility across formats.
