Exactly this! If you aren't an expert and really know your subject, it will fool you into thinking it's reporting "truth". It's not. It's reporting what it hopes will fool you into thinking it's the truth. The danger, I think, is that it will validate cranks into further believing their crankery.

I don't discount that there are good uses for it. But the idea of training off all data is problematic. You train it on shite, you will get shite back. Using it on carefully curated data might produce helpful results in research/science settings. But the idea of replacing people with AI is so dumb.
