Exploring in genshin and wuwa feel really empty and boring because outside of grinding and story quests they give you no incentive to exploring at all. While in endfield, exploring is tied to upgrading the factory with resource gathering and leveling just naturally falling into place.

While I still have major gripes with the story and the lack of visually interesting characters I have to say that endfield does one thing better than any other gacha and that is the incentive for exploring

I’ve now reached chapter 2 and I have to say my opinion of this game changed a lot
