Such a beautiful scene!

It may be the same with songs vs albums. Short-form media is brief enough that the impression and experience can be the same thing. A comic book could be 20 pages long, full of room for errors or parts you disagree with, but a comic panel? A single panel can transcend, stick with you for decades.

You know, I think I've finally realised what my latent obsession with film trailers is about. Unlike films, which are too long, winding and multi-faceted to ever be called perfect, I truly believe there's such a thing as a "perfect trailer", from the first frame to the last!

As someone that DID look up too much beforehand, I feel obliged to corroborate every post I see. Treat it like a Portal or an Undertale - just go for it! Give yourself the gift of truly being surprised!

Have y'all got any resolutions for 2026? I'd love to hear them! I don't usually make a hard-and-fast list, but I'd like to hone my writing until it's so sharp that a suspiciously wealthy client buys my services outright. You never know!

Found myself a festive gig working nights! It's almost over now, but man has it been a wild ride. Nothing can prepare you for retail work in the lead-up to Christmas. I honestly think it should be mandatory growing up. Just 1 month. The nation's approach to customer service would change overnight.

Right? I really hope it's just an anomaly. With the cost of living crisis, taking your family to the pictures isn't getting easier, but I'm not sure what else cinemas can do to compete with the streaming giants. £8 for an Atmos presentation is the most reasonable it's been in years! 😰

For the low, low price of 8 Britannian pounds, I got the entire place to myself. Very surreal seeing all those empty seats. The movie deserved more!
