Hello. This morning I completed my drawing of Sir Chris Hoy at the wheel of the Ligier JS P2 he raced at Le Mans, 10 years ago this June.

I only ever saw it running properly once, with a clutch that could cope. It was mental. Just over 500bhp per tonne.

I drove it at Mallory during the MX5OC national rally. I was asked to demo it to potential clients of his and the brakes were shit. The clutch bit once & it scared me to death!

Rocketeer conversions are beautifully done.

Someone I knew had a Mk1 with a Mk2.5 Sport engine that had been bored to 2.0, fitted with a hybrid turbo and water injection. When I drove it the clutch slipped, thank god (brakes were shit!). It had 500bhp and launch control! Mental..
