DKs big return was an amazing one. really enjoyed this overall new take on a 3d platformer. and oh my god that entire ending sequence. absolutely the craziest nintendo has ever done. felt like a genuine love letter to DK and his history..

next: hades 2. was never really compelled to finish hades 1, somehow hades 2 actually did hook me a lot more. my nintendo year in review thing says it was my most played game this year, generally improves a lot on hades 1 gameplay in many ways and melinoe is just awesome and cute. played on switch2

follow up goty: kirby air riders. im surprised how much i enjoyed this one, i played the original like once or twice and didnt quite get it but this one really clicked and i loved it. i preordered it blind because i believed in sakurai. bless this man and his pink ball. i main blue dedede

my nintendo year in review thing yay

personal goty: monster hunter wilds of course. i really love this game, imo the best base game of the series in a while. obviously heavily flawed especially on release but this MH has the best weaponplay in the series so far; drugs for the brain. i look forward what the future holds for this game.
