Long complicated past 😂 Invariably USA interventions to secure regime change have had unforeseen and deleterious consequences. Trump and Netanyahu a couple of shady rogue cowboys with highly questionable motivations.

UK Labour USA dems and Australian Labor birds of a feather failing to read the room. Still pandering to the ruling class at the expense of the voting public. Nordic style social democracies the way forward. Rule of the people by the people for the people - the core principle of democracy.

The issue here is the reckless behaviour of USA and Israel. There is no doubting the efficiency of their kidnapping and assassination of despotic leaders. The motivations behind this behaviour and the anticipated outcomes a complete enigma.

The Rules-Based Order Is Dead. Good. The rules-based order was a polite fiction based in a fundamental misunderstanding of contemporary geopolitics.

Iranian regime came to power in 1979 after overthrowing the US-backed Iranian monarchy. USA meddling in Middle East affairs has invariably made things worse. Regime change however appealing is not a legal justification for war. Carney’s statement did not explicitly condemn the military attack.

Any person of influence who gives Trump and Netanyahu plausible justification for their reckless actions are part of the problem. These rogue ‘leaders’ need to be reigned in not given a stamp of approval.

"Iran will never have a nuclear weapon" says the guy who lied about destroying their capability who is also the same guy who withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal that was in place before he took office in his first term. He withdrew from it in 2018. Not nearly enough focus on this stupidity.

A few points. The war is illegal. There is no approval from Congress. Trump stated after his last attack on Iran that he had wiped out Irans nuclear capability. Iran has recently expressed willingness to negotiate. Mid terms are approaching, Trumps popularity collapsing. What is his real motive?

The first deaths announced from the US-Israeli strikes on Iran: dozens of school girls. They hit an elementary school in Hormozgan.

If Reform had won this, it would be all over our media as an ‘unstoppable force’ and Hanson would be platformed as saying it was inevitable here. But no one ever treats a progressive win in the same way. That’s an ‘outlier’

Absolutely disgusting. When is our humanity going to evolve? Just because something is “traditional” or a part of someone’s culture, doesn’t mean it’s ok. We need to be more outraged over this.
