I guess if the image is *really* large? Or maybe it's like a relic from when computers were much weaker?
by the way, when you export and image as PNG (or some other format) and the program lets you choose "compression level" where apparently the only difference is file size...
why? Why would you want the larger file size? Assuming that quality is really unaffected, of course
Alright, I restarted the PC and it works now.
Didn't work the first time but I guess you just keep restarting it then
It's not the end of the world. It's not like we lost any data, I don't think. So we'll get it to work one way or other.
But I'd rather not reinstall Krita if I can avoid it. Because remapping all the shortcuts to where we want them is a pain in the butt

this time, I did try modify a different part of the script. And after restarting, it does work again. So I guess I just have to modify any part of the script once a day

19.10.2025 06:27 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It doesn't seem to be that I just have to make any change to the script no matter what it is. But maybe next time, I'll make a change that shouldn't affect matters at all, just to see if it somehow makes it load properly.
But why once per day? That's the part that I really don't get
every day when I start Godot, the game crashes when loading, so I have to start in recovery mode. Then I make some change that seems to solve the problem, but... the next day it happens again.
I'm incredibly confused about this
update: now my tool script crashes the engine once again, which I find incredibly odd

Probably I can just edit the script externally to solve this, but still. Gotta be more careful I guess
