Blue stares after Green, now in blank bafflement. Blue: ...What?

It's infuriating having a genetics professor who will talk all day about mutations and the mechanisms behind genetic variation and expression, but as soon as evolution is brought up, suddenly "it's all theoretical" and "scientists can't agree".

Now on the balcony, both foxes look down in fascination as a cacophony of nonstop honking is happening somewhere below. Green: Wow, the person blocking traffic really thinks they have the right of way. Blue: Amazing. Green turns to look over his shoulder to the apartment, while Blue's eyes are still glued on the action. The aggressive honking continues. Green: Will you keep me updated if I go make us popcorn? Blue: Sure.

Green, narrating: One of life's sweet, fleeting moments of pure and perfect bliss. Blue wakes up, both foxes are bleary-eyed and half-asleep. Blue: Can you get off me? I need to go pee. Green, still narrating: Very fleeting.

Green takes a momentary pause from being cartoonish, being now depicted as a painstakingly detailed and shaded painting of a fox, with fur texture, whiskers and all. Extremely realistic Green: Of course. Returning back to normal, Green keeps walking. Blue follows, looking at Green with suspicion. Blue: How long did it take you to draw that gag? Green: A lot longer than I am willing to admit.
