Isnβt this something people say they want?
It is something Labour are delivering!
14 years of little investment in infrastructure doesn't help either. A planning system that prevents renewables coming online.
01.03.2026 08:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 012% of 545 does not represent the 4000 vote difference or the 12% majority held by The Greens.

Illegal actions by Conservative Government caused this 'farcical' situation
Reporting by the usual suspects is misleading, as you might have guessed
big thanks to @monkemma.bsky.social
A more likely route is to contact your MP if you have a Labour one, this also means the message gets taken back. This is what happened to WFP and PIP. If you don't have a Labour MP it is not so easy.
28.02.2026 10:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The projections on settlement are based on the mass immigration under the Tories. While this is another problem caused by the Tories I am not convinced that doing this, in a response to Reform, is the way forward.
28.02.2026 10:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Just as a bit of info. The final picture, Virginia Giuffre was 17. This was in the UK. The age of consent is different on the UK. Concentrate on all the Americans who rated children as young as 9 years old.
28.02.2026 09:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I do it all the time. Farage rushed off to the police, because people calling (correctly) Reform UK Ltd racist could lead to attacks on members. While a direct threat or incitement, was glossed over.
28.02.2026 09:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I do follow Warren. I've found the constitution which i will complete. It was released before I joined here. Unfortunately, when the Home Secretary stands up and says it will take 10 years to get settlement, most people don't rush to read the consultation.
28.02.2026 09:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lancashire County Council deputy leader shared a post calling for the death of a female MP. Farage just laughed it off.
28.02.2026 08:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I haven't seen anything. Is this only available to Labour Party members?
28.02.2026 07:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Whether this was a tactical or protest vote, we will have to wait for a GE to find out. The constituency has a large immigrant population and the Green immigration policy is more welcoming than Labour. Not much Labour can do about it without another U-turn
28.02.2026 07:17 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If Jenrick makes a leadership bid, I think something similar will befall him.
27.02.2026 21:53 β π 12 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Great statement
27.02.2026 19:23 β π 17 π 4 π¬ 1 π 1Yeah, but he's a control freak. If he's not in control he's not interested.
27.02.2026 21:51 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0What's he going to do, buy Reform UK Ltd off him?
27.02.2026 21:38 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0And your claim that you were 70% more efficient may just have been a small team with a lot of slack
27.02.2026 20:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I worked in a training team. As soon as the first budget cuts came, training was the first thing to be reduced. I left fairly quickly with voluntary redundancy. I was very unhappy at the time, and was easily able to provide a financial justification for cutting my post.
27.02.2026 20:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0No idea what that is, unless it's a typo
27.02.2026 20:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Both Reform and the Tories blatantly rely on sectarianism, particularly white, British racists.
27.02.2026 19:39 β π 21 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Most constituencies have something in common and have been around for a long time. This one hasn't. It's two different constituencies, that vote in different ways, stuck together. It will be interesting to see what happens in the GE (if anyone is bothered by then)
27.02.2026 19:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A party fuelled by sectarianism using sectarianism as the reason they lost
27.02.2026 19:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It does appear to be an odd constituency, formed in 2024 because of boundary changes.
27.02.2026 19:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Without it being seen as another U turn
27.02.2026 18:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Could have been a tactical or protest vote, we won't know until the GE. It's a large immigrant area, and Green policy on immigration is rather more welcoming than Labours stance. Unfortunately Labour have tried to outdo Reform and it will be very difficult for them to do anything
27.02.2026 18:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's been remarkable to observe the rigorous, evidence-based debate led by Jerseyβs policymakers, particularly having contributed to earlier evidence sessions. A landmark moment for compassion and personal autonomy at the end of life.
27.02.2026 12:20 β π 39 π 9 π¬ 1 π 0They should. They won't.
